About

About Thinnd Dev Chronicles

A personal archive about the craft of software development: the stories, decisions and lessons behind the code.

Why Dev Chronicles

Thinnd Dev Chronicles is a personal knowledge archive about the craft and reality of software development.

It collects more than technical solutions. It documents the experiences, decisions, challenges, conversations and lessons that shape the way we build software and grow as engineers.

Some entries explain a technical concept. Others tell the story behind a project, reflect on teamwork, explore product thinking or capture a lesson learned through practice. Together they form a record that grows over time.

Code is part of the work. Understanding the problem, the people and the product is part of it too.

What you will find

Writing principles

  1. Practice matters

Technical ideas become more useful when examined against real constraints and outcomes.

  2. Context matters

A solution should be understood in relation to its problem, trade-offs and environment.

  3. Share honestly

Record what worked, what did not, and what remains uncertain.

  4. Keep learning

Treat experience as evidence to reflect on, not as a reason to stop asking questions.

  5. Respect people and privacy

No confidential information, private conversations or identifying project details without permission.

The author

Thinnd (Nhu Duy Thin) writes and keeps the notes collected here. Each entry is a slice of everyday software work: projects, people, decisions and what was learned along the way.

A note

Unless an entry says otherwise, the content represents personal notes and perspectives, not the official position of any employer, client or organization.

Stay in touch

The archive grows over time. Read the latest post or follow new entries via RSS.

The purpose is not to document everything. It is to preserve the things worth remembering.
